
Before joining Bentley University, Su Zhang was a financial analyst in a commercial environmental laboratory based in the Los Angeles area. She graduated with a master’s degree in Economics from Tufts University where she worked as a teaching assistant and coach to the Tufts debate team in the annual Fed Challenge held by the Federal Reserve. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Henan University of Finance and Economics in China.
Su is currently a doctoral student in business at Bentley University. Her current research interest is in corporate governance and regulation compliance.
Jace Garrett graduated from Brigham Young University in 2011 with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. Jace was a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist and a recipient of the Stratford Scholarship, an ORCA grant, and the BYU School of Accountancy Director’s Award.
While at BYU, Jace was the editor of the School of Accountancy’s semi-annual newsletter. He also taught two sections of introductory accounting. Now, while undertaking his doctorate in accountancy, Jace is interested in the effects of trust on accounting quality and auditor judgment and decision making. He is also interested in how trust can be used as a corporate governance mechanism to reduce opportunistic behavior.

Kip graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting.
Kip is also the recipient of the following scholarships: Robert C. Byrd, Brigham Young Bicentennial, Frank J. & Naoma R. Earl, Brigham Young, Alvina Soffel Barrett, and Marriott School of Management Dean's Office.
During his studies at BYU, Kip worked as an intern for Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators as an internal auditor working on 404 compliance and various internal projects for the firm. Kip also worked as an intern for Deloitte and participated in year-end audits. In his doctoral work, Kip is interested in researching corporate governance, accounting regulation and fraud.

Michele Jurgens is in the third year of her PhD studies at Bentley and is focusing her research efforts on issues of business and society in a multinational context. She has published articles, cases and a book. The last several years Michele has worked at Harvard Business School as a Director, Custom Programs, Executive Education working with HBS faculty and corporate clients.
Michele brings more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and executive-level corporate leadership in strategy, marketing, and quality to her work in academia. Prior to HBS, she worked for nearly ten years in the ACCOR Group in Europe. As Director of Clientele for Compagnie des Wagon-Lits, she was on the senior management board and piloted the firm’s quality and on-board service initiatives. As Director of Marketing for IBIS, Economy Hotels (IBIS, Etap, & Formule 1) she was responsible for brand and positioning worldwide. She also spent two years in the internal university – Academy ACCOR - where she ran executive development programs for the Group and for outside clients such as Air Liquide, Lancome, and Europcar. She also helped launch the Etap Hotel chain and develop its positioning and services.
Michele had earlier experience in corporate finance with Barclays Bank and Societe Generale, and in management consulting with MSR, a European firm of 100-120 consultants in five countries. As Director of the Jacques Horovitz Institute, she was on the management board for MSR and was responsible for research initiatives as well as for the firm’s consultant training programs. She co-authored a book with Professor Jacques Horovitz, IMD, founder of MSR Consulting, and worked with clients such as Hoffmann LaRoche, FNAC, and Eurostar on service strategy and customer satisfaction.
She graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a BA degree in economics and from INSEAD with an MBA.
